We have an exciting opportunity for a SACT giver to join our Trevor Howell Day Unit team. Responsibilities Provide leadership to a team administering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies and supportive treatments to day case oncology & lymphoma patients. Serve as a professional role model, leading and coordinating the nursing team.

Safely coordinate the unit and ensure that there are education and training opportunities for all staff. Maintain high standards of care to patients, meeting trust values, work autonomously and as part of a cohesive team, and demonstrate the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care to this group of patients. Work well under pressure and cope with conflicting demands.

Qualifications Hold a recognised Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy passport / Chemotherapy passport. Have a recognised SACT course, experience in administering SACT, and venepuncture/cannulation skills. Be an enthusiastic and motivated individual looking to develop leadership skills within the unit.

Acceptance of the post requires experience with SACT and supportive therapies for solid tumours and malignant haematological conditions. If you are looking to develop your leadership skills, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
