Band 5 Adult Registered Nurses Leeds Teaching Hospitals (LTHT) are recruiting Band 5 Adult Registered Nurses. Applicants must hold current UK NMC registration with evidence of clinical practice in the UK or be a final year nursing student. Main duties of the job The role is to provide and be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individualised programmes of care.
You will deliver care without supervision and take responsibility as the prime care provider for a group of patients and at all times promote confidence in our commitment to provide excellent compassionate patient care. The role will involve taking charge of the ward or department as necessary in the absence of the Sister or Charge Nurse. You will participate in the in-service training, preceptorship and mentorship of junior staff, post basic learners and students as well as maintaining your personal development.
What you will bring to the role We are looking for individuals who can create a positive patient experience, are innovative, effective at working collaboratively, advocates for quality improvement and ensures the delivery of high‑quality patient care. Requirements Professional registered nurse with current UK NMC registration or current final year nursing student status. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
A passion for delivering exceptional patient experience. Ability to work autonomously and within a team. Flexibility to support department and patient needs.
