Band 5 Staff Nurse (Health Visiting) The Health Visiting Staff Nurse is a registered nurse working as part of the Health Visiting Team providing preventative and supportive health care to children and families in Bath & North East Somerset. This includes identifying, monitoring and providing targeted support to vulnerable children and those whose welfare and safety may be at risk. The successful candidate will work as a member of the Health Visiting Team maintaining a public health focus under the supervision of a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) to deliver the Healthy Programme in a variety of settings including the home and community venues as delegated by the Health Visitor.
Base Two permanent 22.5 hour vacancies located in: Paulton Hospital, BS39 7SB First Steps, BA2 1SY Main Responsibilities Work within the boundaries of the Staff Nurse Competency framework Work with the Health Visiting Team to achieve Key Performance Indicators Work in partnership with children and families to identify any health needs at the earliest opportunity Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
