Staff Engineer Software - Frontend

Position Title: Staff Engineer Software - UI developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and Experienced UI Engineerto join our Web Engineering team. This role will focus on building scalable, high-performance web applicationsthatpowerourgroceryretail platform.Youwillberesponsiblefordesigning and developing modern front-end solutions, ensuring seamless user experiences, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative features for millions of customers.

Roles&responsibilities:

• Design,develop,andmaintainhigh-qualitywebapplicationsusingReact, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
• Implementstatemanagementsolutions withReduxandintegratemiddlewaresuchas Redux-Saga or Thunk.
• Build and optimize AJAX-based data fetching and API integrations.
• Writeandmaintainunit/integrationtestsusingframeworkslikeReactTesting Library, Jest, or similar
• Collaborateclosely withProduct, UX,andBackendteamstodeliver scalableand user-centric solutions.
• Ensurehighavailability,performance,resiliency,andmodularityofWebservices and applications.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment of front-end applications.

ExperienceRequired:

• 8-12years ofprofessionalsoftware engineeringexperiencewithastrong focuson front-end development using ReactJs
• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science or related field.
• Provenexperienceleadinglarge-scalewebapplicationsinhigh-trafficconsumer environments.
• DeepunderstandingofReact,JavaScript,CSS,HTML,andmodernfront-end architecture.
• Experience with UI testing frameworks (React Testing Library, Jest, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of Redux, AJAX, and middleware (Redux-Saga, Thunk)
• Strongtechnicalacumenwiththeabilitytomakearchitecturaldecisionsandlead engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Aproblem-solverStronganalyticalandproblem-solvingskills andyoufindwaysto get things done
• Strong strategic skills.

Preferred:

• Experience in grocery, retail, or consumer-facing digital platforms.
• Familiarity with personalization, taxonomy, and product data enrichment.
• Familiarity with GitHub CoPilot and other developer productivity tools and frameworks.
• HandsondevelopmentexperienceinJavaScript/TypeScriptandmodernweb frameworks (React) is preferred.

MandatorySkillsRequired:

• JavaScript/TypeScript and modern web frameworks ( Reactjs )
• BFF architecture, Distributed systems design and microservices integration
• Redux, AJAX, and middleware (Redux-Saga, Thunk)
