Speech Pathologist

Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, seeks a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our team. This position will be instrumental in providing high-quality speech therapy services in both facility-based and home-based settings. Our Speech Pathologists play a critical role in enhancing patient lives, focusing on functional speech, voice, language, communication, and swallowing interventions.

Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate speech therapy with overall patient care. Maintain patient records and document treatment progress. Educate patients and families on speech disorders and communication techniques.

Provide guidance and supervision to speech therapy assistants and aides. Expertise in various speech therapy techniques. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in electronic health record systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
