Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Special Education Teacher role based in the Greater Hyderabad Area. The Special Education Teacher will plan, deliver, and adapt instructional programs for students with autism and other disabilities in middle school and related age groups.

Daily responsibilities include developing individualized education plans (IEPs), implementing evidence-based teaching strategies, and differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs. The role involves collaborating closely with families, therapists, and other educators, maintaining detailed progress records, and contributing to interdisciplinary meetings. The teacher will also support classroom management, promote social and communication skills, and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment aligned with the foundation’s research-informed practices.
Qualifications

  • Experience working with learners with Disabilities and knowledge of Special Education principles and practices
  • Demonstrated Teaching skills, including lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional differentiation
  • Experience supporting Middle School students or similar age groups in formal educational settings
  • Strong Communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education, Education, or a closely related field
  • Relevant teaching certification or eligibility to obtain certification, as required by local regulations
  • Familiarity with autism-specific interventions, behavior support strategies, and inclusive education practices
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation, use educational technology, and engage in ongoing professional development
