We are looking for a passionate and experienced Sound Engineer / Audio Engineering Faculty to join our academic team and mentor aspiring audio professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Sound Engineering and Audio Production to diploma and certificate students.
• Deliver both theoretical and practical sessions in a professional studio environment.
• Train students in recording, editing, mixing and basic mastering techniques.
• Demonstrate microphone techniques, signal flow, studio setup and live sound fundamentals.
• Assist students with practical assignments, projects and assessments.
• Stay updated with current industry practices and incorporate them into training.
• Maintain studio equipment and ensure proper usage by students.
• Collaborate with the academic team to enhance curriculum and learning outcomes.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Diploma or Professional Certification in Sound Engineering, Audio Engineering or Music Production (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in recording studios, live sound or audio production.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Signal Flow
• Gain Staging
• Recording Techniques
• Mixing & Mastering
• Live Sound
• Microphones & Studio Equipment
• Proficiency in one or more DAWs such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton Live or Cubase.
• Excellent communication and teaching skills.
• Passion for mentoring students.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior teaching or training experience.
• Experience working with artists, bands or commercial studios.
• Knowledge of Dolby Atmos or immersive audio will be an added advantage.
