Site Manager/ Agent\n

My client is a specialist's civil engineering sub-contractor. They are very well placed within the market place with a strong and reputable reputation. Due to winning a large scheme they have positions for a number of site agent/ Managers.

\n

They Site Agent will have experience working on highways road access, and major earthworks. This is a highways alteration.

\n

You will have proven experience as a civils site agent, understanding the demands of regulated schemes. This is an opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of secured future works on a multi million scheme.

Key responsibilities\n

\n
• Day-to-day management of site operations, labour, plant and subcontractors
\n
• Delivery of water and highways works including drainage, ducting, chambers, earthworks, kerbing and surfacing
\n
• Ensuring compliance with H&S legislation, RAMS, permits and client standards
\n
• Liaison with clients, local authorities, inspectors and project teams
\n
• Managing quality, programme and short-term planning
\n
• Maintaining site records, permits, ITPs and progress reporting
\n
• Supporting commercial control and change management on site
\n

What We're Looking For\n

\n
• Proven experience as a Site Agent
\n
• Strong background in highways works
\n
• Experience working in live environments and under permit systems
\n
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid (essential)
\n
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
\n
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
