Job Description
The Opportunity
As a Site Engineer, you will support the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, handling civil, structural and utility components.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in all stages of project delivery including tender handovers, launches, site establishment, risk management, construction staging, methodology and procurement.
- Manage safety, time, cost and quality.
- Manage and develop the engineering team.
- Plan and programme projects.
- Liaise with and manage client relationships.
- Monitor performance of construction crews and subcontractors against estimates.
- Report and mitigate performance issues.
- Report production costs daily, weekly and monthly.
- Procure plant, equipment and material.
- Issue PMPs, SWMs and MSDs.
- Ensure project compliance with the Integrated Management System.
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or Civil Engineering and/or Project Management).
- At least 3β4 years experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and team members.
- Experience working with authorities such as local councils, utilities and major road project authorities.
