The Opportunity

As a Site Engineer, you will support the full lifecycle of infrastructure projects, handling civil, structural and utility components.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in all stages of project delivery including tender handovers, launches, site establishment, risk management, construction staging, methodology and procurement.
  • Manage safety, time, cost and quality.
  • Manage and develop the engineering team.
  • Plan and programme projects.
  • Liaise with and manage client relationships.
  • Monitor performance of construction crews and subcontractors against estimates.
  • Report and mitigate performance issues.
  • Report production costs daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Procure plant, equipment and material.
  • Issue PMPs, SWMs and MSDs.
  • Ensure project compliance with the Integrated Management System.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or Civil Engineering and/or Project Management).
  • At least 3–4 years experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and team members.
  • Experience working with authorities such as local councils, utilities and major road project authorities.
