WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As the Site Business Support Officer for Drill and Blast at Norton Gold Fields, you are the administrative backbone of the open pit operation. You’ll be the first point of contact for visitors and staff on site, keeping rosters, records and reporting running smoothly while supporting the Drill and Blast Superintendent and wider team.

  • Greet and sign in all visitors, ensure site inductions are completed, and act as the central point for all administrative information and follow-up across the department.
  • Maintain accurate crew rosters, support new starter onboarding, coordinate PPE and uniform orders, and assist employees with UKG timesheets and leave applications.
  • Raise, manage and receipt purchase orders using Pronto, process invoices accurately in Filebound, and liaise with Accounts Payable to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Conduct daily data entry including Take 5s, LV pre-starts and contractor hours, and report end-of-month figures to the Safety Superintendent.
  • Order and maintain general site supplies, monitor potable water consumption, and keep office equipment, noticeboards and Visual Management Boards up to date.
  • Provide broad administrative support to managers and supervisors including meeting coordination, document control, report preparation and ongoing improvements to systems and procedures.

ABOUT YOU

  • Current, unrestricted Western Australian Class “C” Driver’s Licence(Essential).
  • Minimum 2 years’ administration experience, with at least 6 months on a mine site(Essential).
  • Previous experience with Pronto, SAP or a similar ERP system(Essential).
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and database management.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the operation, from operators to management.
