As a Trainee Warehouse Officer, you will support the day-to-day warehouse operations within our mining site. You will receive training and mentorship from experienced professionals to learn all aspects of warehouse management, including stock control, inventory, and logistics. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow within the mining industry and develop a strong foundation in warehouse operations.
The Eva Copper Mine Project is located on the traditional lands of the Kalkadoon People in North West Queensland, approximately 75 km north-west of Cloncurry and about 95 km north-east of Mount Isa.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials to and from the warehouse.
- Learn to manage stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Support with organizing and maintaining the warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
- Help with the preparation and packaging of materials for distribution to various departments on-site.
- Assist in ensuring all warehouse processes comply with safety and operational guidelines.
- Learn to use warehouse management systems and other tools to track and manage stock.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

- A strong interest in logistics, inventory management, and the mining industry.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move materials in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- A valid driver’s license.
