Your impact Jacobs is looking for an analyst to support Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) study efforts—from design to mission utility to procurement of future space and airborne systems. The Simulation Analyst is expected to perform high‑fidelity modeling and simulation of satellites, aircraft, and their ISR sensor suites for a variety of government and commercial customers.
Tasks would involve: Modeling various ISR systems Designing studies and implementing trade studies to demonstrate objectives Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) checks of simulation input and results Analyzing large amounts of data Preparing technical documentation and reports Generating graphs and briefs to support study findings Presenting findings to senior decision makers Here’s what you’ll need Active TS/SCI clearance. 1+ years experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. Willingness to work on-site in Chantilly. Proficiency with Python and data manipulation.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment.
Desired Skills Knowledge of GEOINT collection phenomenologies (RF, EOIR, SAR, …) Knowledge of spacecraft orbits and attitudes. Previous modeling and simulation experience. Compensation The base salary range for this position is $90,000.00 to $115,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
