Construction Superintendent (Nashville)

A well-established general contractor with a strong presence in the Nashville market is seeking a Superintendent to oversee ground-up K-12 charter school projects. This firm is known for delivering high-quality educational facilities with a focus on schedule, safety, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities Manage all on-site construction activities from start to finish Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, vendors, and inspections Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized jobsite Communicate with project managers to ensure alignment on budget, schedule, and project goals Maintain quality control and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications Lead weekly site meetings and provide regular project updates Track daily progress and maintain accurate field reports and documentation Proactively identify and resolve jobsite issues or delays Ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time and stored properly Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction Experience managing ground-up K-12, charter school, or institutional projects Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Proficiency with project management software and reporting tools OSHA 30 certification preferred
