Job Overview:

Hanley Calibration would like to announce an exciting opportunity to join our management team in the role of Service Manager for the Leinster region. Potential candidates will require strong leadership, mentoring and organisational skills and possess extensive knowledge of cGMP calibrations in the Life Sciences sector including the management of traceability standards. Other responsibilities will include the management of key accounts, the ability to resolve technical queries and expanding service contract portfolios.

Location:

Brent House, Mountgorry, Swords, Co Dublin

Reporting to:

Service Director

Key responsibilities Include:

  • General Management of the calibration schedule by allocated region
  • Supervision of mobile calibration technicians/engineers
  • Maintain strict adherence to ISO9001/2015 and cGMP quality standards
  • Supervise technical administration assistants
  • Attend Key customer site Meetings
  • Attend Monthly Management Review Meetings
  • Set Company and personal Objectives
  • Adhering to all processes and procedures to meet with targets
  • To ensure regular communication with customers, finance department and senior management team
  • Liaising with the technical department to ensure site engineers/technicians receive technical support as required
  • To provide team leadership and direction including carrying out regular reviews and assessments with engineers/technicians
  • Maintain office systems e.g., Management of test equipment / CMMS System / Scheduler
  • Manage incoming and outgoing equipment deliveries
  • Issuing of customer quotations along with all follow up administrative tasks

Education/ Experience Requirements:

  • Technical Qualification in engineering discipline.
  • Management Qualification (Desirable)
  • 5 years' experience in industry
  • 5 years' experience in service sector
  • Good knowledge of ISO quality systems
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team, as well as an excellent team worker
  • Excellent customer service skills with an ability to multitask and solve complex operational issues
  • Full clean driving license
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills
