You will own the research, analysis, and performance tracking that drives every strategy decision the SEO Manager makes. You are not a report generator — you are an insight producer. If a ranking drops, you find out why before being asked. If a competitor gains ground, you surface it with a recommended counter-move, not just a screenshot.

What You Will Own • Reporting & Analysis — Weekly and monthly SEO performance reporting — traffic, rankings, CTR, impressions, qualified leads — with analysis, not just numbers • Keyword Research — Keyword research for all new content — search volume, keyword difficulty, SERP feature analysis, intent classification, and competitor gap identification • Technical Auditing — Technical SEO audits — crawl errors, index coverage, redirect chains, duplicate content, Core Web Vitals — using Screaming Frog and GSC • Competitor Intelligence — Competitor monitoring — track ranking movements, new content published, backlink acquisitions, and SERP feature appearances of top 5 competitors monthly • Link Analysis — Backlink profile analysis — identify toxic links, monitor new acquisitions, and track link velocity vs competitors • On-Page Recommendations — On-page optimisation recommendations — meta titles, descriptions, heading structures, internal linking, schema markup — for existing and new pages • Log File Analysis — Log file analysis to identify crawl budget waste and Googlebot behaviour patterns • Content Brief Support — Support content team with data-backed briefs — search volume, SERP features to target, word count benchmarks, and entity coverage requirements • Process Automation — Must have Structured thinking to analyse and automate SEO Processes with help of developer and AI tools Non-Negotiable Requirements • 3+ years in an SEO role with hands-on use of Ahrefs or Semrush — not just viewing dashboards • Proficiency in Google Search Console — beyond basic traffic reports, including coverage, enhancements, and manual actions • Ability to read and interpret crawl data from Screaming Frog • Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals — canonicals, hreflang, structured data, Core Web Vitals, crawlability • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills — pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation at scale • Clear written communication — your analysis must be understood by non-SEO stakeholders • Experience working on IT services or B2B technology websites preferred What Will Get You Shortlisted Faster • Experience with Python or basic scripting for SEO data extraction and automation • Familiarity with GA4 — event tracking, conversion paths, attribution models • Prior experience tracking international keyword performance across US, UK, AU markets • Knowledge of AEO — tracking brand citations in AI Overviews and LLM responses KPIs You Will Be Measured Against • Accuracy and timeliness of weekly SEO reporting • Quality of keyword research — relevance, intent accuracy, opportunity identification • Speed of issue identification and escalation when rankings or traffic drops occur • Competitor intelligence report quality — actionable recommendations, not just data dumps Perks & Culture ✦ 5-Day Work Week — structured for focus, not face time ✦ Flexible Working Hours — we measure output, not hours clocked ✦ Performance-Linked Incentives — exceptional work is recognised and rewarded financially ✦ Growth-Oriented Culture — clear career path with defined milestones, not a dead-end role ✦ International Client Exposure — work directly on campaigns and accounts with US, UK, AU, CA clients ✦ Collaborative Team Environment — direct access to senior leadership and cross-functional teams ✦ Continuous Learning — access to premium tools, industry resources, and skill development budgets ✦ Merit-Based Progression — promotions driven by results, not tenure
