\n Senior Structural Engineer / Associate\n
We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join WSP Brisbane's Building Structures group.

- Project lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects. \n
- Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets. \n
- Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients. \n
- Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally. \n
- Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team. \n
- Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers. \n
- Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting. \n
- \n
- Bachelor to Masters’ level degree (Civil/Structural Engineering). \n
- RPEQ qualified or close to completion. \n
- Minimum 8-12 years post graduate industry experience. \n
- Commercial experience in Australia or New Zealand on medium/large building structure engineering projects is essential. \n
- Exposure across a range of local building sectors, e.g., transport, health, retail, defence. \n
- Familiar with ETABS, RAM Concept and Microstran. \n
- Solid consultancy experience in a client facing role with ability to lead projects. \n
- Track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery. \n
- Experience coaching & mentoring junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects. \n
- Ability to obtain Australian Defence Force security clearance (Aus Citizenship required) would be preferred but not essential. \n
