Senior Staff Nurse - Respiratory

Overview Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse B7 Respiratory at the University Hospital of Wales. We are looking for an experienced nurse who has excellent communication, organizational and clinical skills and who can demonstrate a commitment to delivering high standards of care to our patients. Responsibilities Manage the Acute Non-Invasive Ventilation bay and support the staff you are working with. Co-ordinate the ward and support junior members of the team, developing leadership skills. Care for patients on B7, a dedicated 4 bedded high care area for patients requiring acute Non Invasive Ventilation. Contribute to the respiratory training program, including management of tracheostomies, laryngectomies, chest drains and education in respiratory conditions. Drive change management, develop current protocols and provide evidence-based, best-practice care to a diverse patient group. Qualifications / Experience Experience as a nurse with excellent communication, organizational and clinical skills. Demonstrated commitment to delivering high standards of care to patients.
