Senior Solutions Engineer

Our team works with the worlds leading companies in HCLS, including the largest Health Providers, Insurers, Pharmaceuticals, BioTech companies and more. As a partner to the Global 500, we collaborate with customers and prospects to align Akamai solutions to business needs. We build relationships and insights to maximize product value through the full scope of our global platform.

Youll play an integral part in sales cycles, defining solutions that meet the requirements of our customers. Youll be the advisor and technical expert to facilitate product adoption and account growth for customers. As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for: • Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamais technology to customers. • Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate. • Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customers needs. • Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos, Customer Analysis Reports (CARs) and Proof of Concepts (POCs).

To be successful in this role you will: • Have 8 years of experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management or Information Systems • Have experience working in a customer-facing technical solutions pre-sales or post sale role • Have understanding of the internet, including Cloud Computing, CyberSecurity, WAF, Bot Management, DDoS, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS protocols • Be a customer advocate passionate about delivering technical solutions. • Demonstrate experience with presenting technical topics to diverse audiences. • Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment FlexBase, Akamais Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
