Our client is a rapidly growing AI startup building next-generation voice automation technology for the healthcare industry. Their proprietary platform combines real-time voice infrastructure, custom AI orchestration, and advanced speech technology to deliver enterprise-grade conversational AI at scale.

Backed by strong customer traction and significant recent funding, the company is entering an exciting stage of growth and is hiring multiple Senior Software Engineers to help scale its platform from millions to billions of AI-powered phone calls annually. This is an opportunity to own meaningful product initiatives, work on technically challenging problems, and help shape the future of a fast-growing engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale highly reliable backend systems and full-stack applications.

• Own projects end-to-end, from architecture and technical design through deployment and ongoing iteration.

• Build features across customer-facing applications, backend services, analytics platforms, and real-time infrastructure.

• Develop scalable APIs, distributed systems, and modern web applications.

• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to deliver impactful solutions.

• Work directly with customers to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

• Improve system performance, scalability, reliability, and overall engineering quality.

• Mentor engineers and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture with opportunities to grow into technical leadership.
  
  Technology Stack: Python, TypeScript, React, GraphQL

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience in full-stack or backend development.

• Strong experience with Python and either TypeScript/React or large-scale backend systems.

• Proven experience designing and building scalable, production-grade software.

• Strong understanding of distributed systems, system architecture, and performance optimization.

• Experience owning complex technical projects from design through production.

• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments, high-growth technology companies, or a combination of both.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Strong ownership mentality, problem-solving ability, and a builder mindset.

• Experience mentoring engineers or leading technical initiatives is highly preferred.

• Experience with AI, Voice AI, healthcare technology, or enterprise SaaS is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $200,000 - $300,000 (depending on experience)

• Onsite schedule: 5 days per week in San Francisco or New York
