Senior Sales Engineering Manager

Largely field based with a North West office

We're delighted to be partnering with a North West based business who due to growth are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join their team.

The role offers a unique change to make a huge impact for the business as you'll be able to come in and review the current sales process, manage a team, and proactively generate new business too.

• You'll be responsible for managing a team of 7 (mix of field and internal sales), and will oversee their work, upskill, and motivate them.
• You'll attend sales visits with your team and independently to generate new clients but also account manage and retain existing clients
• Spot opportunities to drive efficiencies
• Report into the MD and regularly update on sales pipeline, challenges and successes

What we're looking for?

• You'll ideally have an Engineering background turned sales, and will be confident selling into a range of clients from SME's through to large manufacturers and industrial clients mostly.
• You'll be flexible to travel across the North West weekly with overnight stays occasionally
• You'll enjoy managing and motivating a sales team
• You'll have a strong network of contacts relevant to the industry
• You'll enjoy working to targets and will be able to demonstrate where you've achieved in previous roles
