Effective operational risk management is a key safeguard for all of the Bank's stakeholders (clients, third parties, employees, regulators, and shareholders). With your expertise, you help ensure that practices and processes are applied consistently, rigorously, and in accordance with internal and regulatory expectations (risk assessments, continuous monitoring questionnaires, accountability, events and losses, third-party monitoring, etc.). Through the analysis of data from the various tools within the framework, you identify cross-cutting findings and significant trends that allow you to assess the health of the Bank's operational risk management framework.

Your analyses support the production of operational risk management reports, inform governance bodies, and strengthen the organization's ability to anticipate, control, and mitigate risks Your role: Ensure the quality, integrity, consistency, and traceability of operational and third-party risk data used in corporate tools and repositories, in accordance with applicable methodological frameworks, standards, and expectations. Define, document, and deploy quality assurance procedures for the ongoing monitoring of the application of operational and third-party risk management frameworks. Perform second-line monitoring by assessing the compliance of the use of risk management tools, methodologies, and practices with internal, regulatory, and governance requirements.

Identify, document, and analyze gaps, recurring issues, and compliance weaknesses in the application of frameworks and methodologies, and formulate clear and pragmatic recommendations. Support and advise business and risk teams in understanding expectations, consistently applying tools, and continuously improving the quality of information used for management and governance purposes. Analyze data from quality assurance activities across the framework's various tools to identify cross-cutting findings, trends, and key messages regarding operational risk management processes.

Produce analyses, dashboards, indicators, and management reports for risk teams, senior management, and committees, emphasizing the reliability, clarity, and decision-making value of the information. Contribute to the development and optimization of methodologies, quality standards, and monitoring mechanisms associated with operational and third-party risk management frameworks. Participate in independent reviews, internal audits, regulatory reviews, and governance processes, and ensure follow-up on recommendations and action plans related to the quality and compliance of practices and data.

Your team: Within the Risk Management sector, you'll be part of a large team of about twenty colleagues and will report to Tammie Deschênes, Senior Director, Operational Risk Partners. Prerequisites: • Bachelor's degree in a field related to the industry and relevant experience • Knowledge of operational risk management practices and concepts • Experience in implementing and executing quality assurance mechanisms • Strong ability to analyze risk data qualitatively and quantitatively • Ability to formulate clear, structured, and pragmatic recommendations focused on continuous improvement.
