The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, Perdon is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Project Engineer to join our team based in Bibra Lake.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of major civil and precast projects while playing a key leadership role within our project delivery team. Working closely with Project Managers and senior leadership, you will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on schedule and within budget.

About You

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience delivering civil construction projects.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex concrete and/or precast construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration and commercial management.
  • Experience leading and mentoring Project Engineers and Site Engineers.
  • Excellent understanding of QA/QC requirements, ITPs and project documentation.
  • Strong planning, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
  • High level communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Willingness to travel to regional project sites as required.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead the successful delivery of civil and precast construction projects from commencement through to completion.
  • Manage project programmes, budgets, procurement and resource planning.
  • Oversee project engineering activities including RFIs, ITPs, inspections and quality documentation.
  • Ensure projects comply with client specifications, contractual obligations and company standards.
  • Drive safety, quality and environmental performance across all projects.
  • Manage subcontractor procurement, engagement and performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare project reports, cost forecasts and monthly financial reporting.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering staff.
  • Work collaboratively with Project Managers to achieve project objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
