Senior Manager- Delegated Underwriting Authority – UK/ Lloyd’s/London Market, Property & Casualty Insurance

Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager, Delegated Underwriting Authority – UK/ Lloyd’s/London Market, Property & Casualty Insurance Your role will require you to utilize your experience in and knowledge of Insurance/Reinsurance and delegated underwriting processes to process transactions for the Underwriting Support Teams and communicate with the Onsite Team.

Responsibilities Manage teams of 25-50+and service level targets. Providing guidance to direct reports, comprised of Managers, Asst Managers and key SMEs. · Monitor, analyses and report on trends in the key Delegated underwriting performance drivers.

· Leading weekly/monthly/quarterly discussions on operations with client DA and company stakeholders. · Understanding of risks faced by the function and the controls in place to manage and mitigate the risks · Ensuring clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area

· Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment · Working with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning · Guiding the talent identification and development processes for a function.

· Approving hiring and redeployment requests within his/her group · Root Cause Analysis on escalations received · Very good problem-solving skills & attention to detail.

· Ability to accurately interpret and compile information from a variety of sources and systems · Ability to function effectively in a team environment exercising good judgment · Ability to meet outlined and expected standards of timeliness and accuracy in completion of work

Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications / Skills Any Graduate, with Delegated Authority team leading span of experience for 20-50+ DA/UW team as minimum

Minimum 10+ years of experience in London Markets · Relevant experience in Delegated Authority-UK and Lloyd’s Underwriting support function for P&C Insurance Industry (Lloyd’s DA – BDX mapping, processing, chasing & LPAN creation) Proficient Underwriting market experience in BPO delivery

· Data analysis Skills – Proficient · Communication – Good Written and spoken Communication Skills · Fluent in English language - both Written and Oral

· Good knowledge of MS Office specifically MS Excel Preferred Qualifications/ Skills • Knowledge of Bureau/ Non-Bureau market

• Good understanding of Delegated Authority- London Insurance Market
