Job DescriptionArmont have partnered with a market-leading organisation seeking an ambitious Senior Finance Business Partner to join their growing finance team based in south Dublin. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will provide financial oversight and insight across the organisations key cost areas. The successful candidate will lead cost reporting and forecasting, deliver meaningful analysis and partner closely with senior stakeholders and procurement to drive a deeper understanding of cost drivers, spending trends, risks and opportunities within the business.

This position will suit a commercially minded, qualified accountant (3+ years PQE) with strong hands-on business partnering and analytical experience who is looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic and scaling organisation. The Role Lead monthly cost reporting and month-end close processes across key operational cost areas, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Deliver insightful financial analysis, identifying trends, risks and opportunities to support business performance.

Lead budgeting and forecasting activities across major cost categories, providing detailed variance analysis and recommendations. Develop and enhance reporting packs, dashboards and financial models to improve visibility and decision-making. Partner with senior stakeholders and procurement to understand cost drivers, usage patterns and opportunities for optimisation.

Provide commercial insight and challenge to support effective cost management and operational efficiency. Drive improvements in reporting, forecasting and analysis through automation and process enhancement initiatives. Support the development of business cases, scenario modelling and cost-saving initiatives to support strategic decision-making.

Strengthen data flows and collaboration across Finance, Operations and Procurement to improve reporting quality and transparency. The Candidate Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience, including 2+ years in a hands-on Finance Business Partner role. Strong experience in cost reporting, month-end close, budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills with the ability to interpret complex cost data and provide actionable insight. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI and financial reporting tools. Proven ability to streamline reporting processes, improve data flows and drive continuous improvement.

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.
