Salary: $110,000 – $140,000 + Super (Depending on experience)

Looking to step into a key, high-impact role with an established industry leader on the Coast? This builder is seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team in Broadbeach.
\n We are a premier investment residential builder delivering upwards of 200 homes per year across South East Queensland. Known for our smart designs, reliable delivery, and strong client relationships, we provide a stable, collaborative environment where your expertise directly drives business success.

The Role\n

Working full-time in-house from our modern Broadbeach office, you will take ownership of the full project estimating lifecycle to ensure cost accuracy, strong supplier margins, and smooth transitions to site construction.

Key Responsibilities\n

• End-to-End Estimating: Manage the lifecycle of project estimates, with a primary focus on detailed production estimating, BOQs, and final trade orders.
\n
• Sales Estimating Support: Prepare initial sales estimates, preliminary budgets, and custom variation pricing as required.
\n
• Costing & BOQ Accuracy: Produce detailed Bill of Quantities, perform site cost analysis, and ensure precise material take-offs.
\n
• Supplier & Subcontractor Liaison: Manage price files, negotiate trade/supplier rates, and review quote submissions to maintain profitability.
\n
• Process Optimization: Continuously audit job costs, run margin reviews post-construction, and refine estimating templates to boost operational efficiency.

About You\n

• Proven Estimating Experience: 3+ years of experience in residential volume home building estimating (investment builder background preferred).
\n
• Production Focus: Deep understanding of residential production & sales estimating workflows, timber frame/slab construction details, and trade breakdowns.
\n
• Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with industry estimating software (e.g., Databuild, Framework, ClickHome, or similar CRM/estimating tools).
\n
• Commercial Acumen: Sharp eye for detail, strong negotiation skills, and a solid grasp of market rates and building codes in SEQ.
\n
• Reliable & Office-Based: Local to the Gold Coast or capable of commuting to our Broadbeach office daily.
\n
