Senior Developer

Our oil and gas client seeking a Senior Software Developer with experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This role requires strong backend and frontend development skills, with a focus on data-driven applications that integrate spatial and operational data. The ideal candidate will be a hands‑on developer who can collaborate across technical and business teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities Maintain applications that support GIS and midstream business processes Work with spatial and non-spatial data to build reliable, high-performance systems Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, queries, stored procedures, and data integrations Collaborate with GIS analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical design sessions Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and data issues Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in coding, testing, and documentation Required Qualifications 5+ years of professional software development experience Experience with GIS technologies or midstream oil & gas systems and workflows Strong experience with SQL Server Strong experience in at least one of the following languages: C#, Java, Python Preferred Qualifications Hands‑on experience with GIS platforms (e.g., Esri/ArcGIS, spatial databases, map services) Background in the midstream energy industry #J-18808-Ljbffr
