Senior Chemical Engineer - Heavy Engineering

Our client are a leading manufacturer based in County Louth who are looking for a Senior Chemical Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Production Manager, this job will be well suited for a degree qualified chemical engineer who has several years’ experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment who wants to contribute to a company’s production function and is keen on joining a company offering strong career progression.

About the Position

• As Senior Chemical Engineer, your job will be to provide technical expertise to the production and maintenance teams related to a range of equipment and processes.
• Assisting with projects and process improvement works.
• Equipment overhauls, project startups and commissioning.
• Resolving manufacturing problems and implementing improvements.
• Preparing and maintaining documentation of manuals/processes.
• Any other duties as required.

Experience/Requirements

• For this Senior Chemical Engineer job, you will have 4+ years’ relevant experience in a highly regulated industry.
• You will also have at least a level 8 degree in chemical engineering and strong communication skills.
