Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad for a Senior AutoCAD Design Engineer with strong SketchUp expertise. The role involves preparing detailed architectural and construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details, using AutoCAD and SketchUp. The engineer will develop 2D and 3D models, support space planning and layout optimization, and ensure drawings comply with project specifications, building standards, and client requirements.

Daily tasks include coordinating with project managers and site teams, reviewing and updating drawings, resolving design conflicts, and maintaining organized drawing documentation. The role also involves mentoring junior team members, contributing to design reviews, and supporting continuous improvement in drafting and visualization practices.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with the ability to produce accurate, detailed, and build-ready documentation.
• Proficiency in Drawing and Space Planning to create efficient layouts, optimized designs, and clear visual representations of project concepts.
• Effective Communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, external stakeholders, and for documenting design decisions and changes clearly.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp, including 2D drafting, 3D modeling, and rendering; familiarity with other design tools (e.g., Revit, Photoshop) is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of building materials, construction methods, and relevant codes and standards applicable to architectural and interior projects.
• Demonstrated experience in a senior or lead design role, with the ability to guide junior designers and manage multiple projects or deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on-site in Hyderabad with a structured, quality-focused approach.
• At least 4-5 years experience in the field of steel door industry or related to any fabrication industry.
