Senior Analyst

TheSeniorAnalyst will be a part of the Enterprise and Channels research team in Reading and will be responsible for contributing to Omdia’s Channels Analysis research services. The individual must be data and results-oriented, hungry to drive innovation within our services, implement ideas, and work with team members to drive commercial success. A particular interest in technology and routes-to-market are critical.

The individual will be part of a globally dispersed team and must be able to manage working with colleagues and senior executives from around the world.

Drive research and provide insights into channels to help vendors and channel partners develop their go-to-market strategies.

Supporting Omdia’s Channels Analysis EMEA research agendas and conducting primary research with vendors and channel partners to acquire market insights to support clients’ decision making.

Creating and delivering research deliverables to clients (including presentations, reports, surveys etc.).

Presenting research insights to senior level decision makers of clients’ regional or HQ teams.

Contributing to global research engagements/projects, which includes conducting research interviews.

Contributing to global research engagements/projects, which may include conducting research interviews, creating questionnaires, working with digital research tools.

Qualifications

Able to develop insights into the current market and future technology ecosystem trends, and their impact on clients’ business.

Excellent communication skills as the role requires responding to client inquiries, researching channels to market and addressing the press.

Exceptional data analytical skills.

Strong analytical skills interested in digital tools and how they support research.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrate leadership skills.

Willing to learn and share.

Prior experience in researching channels and partner ecosystems is an advantage.

Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word, are essential. Experience of using AI tools for research purposes is an advantage.

Strong English language verbal and written skills are essential. Fluency in another European language is an advantage.
