Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the company's accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, taxation, and reconciliations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, payroll accounting, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely recording of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Manage GST, TDS, Professional Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal, statutory, and tax audits.
• Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory filings.
• Process payroll accounting entries and employee reimbursements.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and applicable laws.
• Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Support management with financial analysis and decision-making reports.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Indian Accounting Standards.
• Hands-on experience with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or other accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, financial formulas).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) – Mandatory.
• M.Com, CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent qualification will be an added advantage.
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

Preferred Experience

• Experience handling statutory audits and tax assessments.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and financial reporting tools
