Job Title: Senior Accountant (US/Canada)

Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST)

Work Mode: 100% Onsite

Location: Vastrapur, Ahmedabad

Must have :

3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience supporting US and/or Canadian clients.

\n

Job Summary

\n

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with hands-on experience in bookkeeping and accounting for US and Canadian clients. The ideal candidate should be proficient in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or Xero and capable of managing day-to-day accounting functions independently.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Perform daily bookkeeping and accounting activities.
\n
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
\n
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
\n
• Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
\n
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
\n
• Generate financial reports, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet.
\n
• Support payroll processing and tax-related activities.
\n
• Ensure accurate recordkeeping and compliance with accounting standards.
\n

Requirements

\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
\n
• 3+ years of bookkeeping/accounting experience supporting US and/or Canadian clients.
\n
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and/or Xero.
\n
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and excellent communication skills.
\n

Preferred: Experience working with CPA firms, accounting firms, or outsourced accounting service providers.
