Senior Accountant / Group Accountant

We Are Hiring: Senior Accountant / Group Accountant

Location: Kochi, India

Design Confidence is looking for a highly experienced and technically strong accountant to manage our finance and accounting functions across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and India. This is not a routine bookkeeping position. We are looking for a Grade A finance professional who can take ownership of regional accounting, statutory compliance, taxation, reporting, controls and financial coordination across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete accounting and financial reporting for UAE, Saudi Arabia and India operations
• Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow reports, budgets and financial forecasts
• Ensure accurate closing of accounts and timely reporting to management
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, payroll coordination and bank reconciliations
• Oversee intercompany transactions and reconciliation between regional entities
• Maintain strong internal controls, financial procedures and documentation
• Coordinate annual audits and work closely with external auditors, tax consultants and government authorities
• Support management with commercial analysis, project profitability, fee tracking and financial decision-making

Regional Compliance Knowledge

The successful candidate must have strong working knowledge of:

• India

GST, TDS, income tax requirements, statutory filings, payroll compliance and LLP or company accounting

• UAE

VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR requirements, payroll controls, WPS and statutory accounting requirements

• Saudi Arabia

ZATCA requirements, VAT, withholding tax, e-invoicing, corporate compliance and payroll coordination

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant, ACCA, CPA, CMA or equivalent internationally recognised professional qualification
• Multiple professional certifications will be a strong advantage
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Minimum 8 to 12 years of relevant accounting and finance experience
• Proven experience managing accounts across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and India
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and regional taxation requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or professional accounting systems
• Strong communication, analytical and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality and take full ownership of the finance function
