As part of the expansion of our Cybersecurity practice, we are looking for an Operational Security Manager who will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day security operations, coordinating security services, and ensuring the operational effectiveness of cybersecurity processes for a major international client.

Here's what your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead and coordinate daily cybersecurity operations and ensure service continuity.
• Monitor security performance through operational KPIs and ensure compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Oversee the detection, investigation, escalation, and resolution of security incidents.
• Coordinate operational activities between SOC teams, Infrastructure, Cloud, Network, IAM, and other technical stakeholders.
• Ensure vulnerabilities are properly tracked, prioritized, and remediated within agreed timelines.
• Lead operational security meetings and provide regular reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security operations, processes, and service quality.
• Review and validate security procedures, playbooks, and operational documentation.
• Manage operational risks and ensure compliance with internal security policies and industry best practices.
• Support audits, security assessments, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Provide technical guidance and operational leadership to cybersecurity teams.

Technology Environment

Mimecast – Zscaler – Microsoft Defender – Tenable – Invicti – Wiz – Recorded Future – Microsoft Entra ID / IAM.

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Operational Security, Security Operations, SOC Management, or Cybersecurity Service Management.
• Previous experience managing operational cybersecurity teams and client-facing services is highly desirable.

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and incident response processes.
• Solid knowledge of Vulnerability Management, Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR), Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Threat Intelligence.
• Good understanding of Microsoft security technologies, Cloud Security, and enterprise security architectures.
• Familiarity with security governance, operational risk management, and cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls).
• Good understanding of networking, Windows/Linux environments, and enterprise security best practices.
