Key Deliverables (Essential functions & Responsibilities of the Job) : As a Section Manager, your key responsibilities include: Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the daily activities of your section, ensure standards are met, and check that pricing and other legal requirements are followed. Support Cashiers: Help train cashiers and provide support as needed. Meet Sales Targets: Ensure your section meets sales goals and contribute to setting these targets. Monitor progress and take action if needed. Communicate Performance: Keep your team informed about how the department, store, and region are performing towards targets. Reduce Loss: Minimize stock loss by training your team on proper merchandise handling and stock protection. Customer Service: Lead by example in providing excellent customer service, understand and build relationships with customers, and handle complaints effectively. Visual Merchandising: Follow and enforce visual merchandising guidelines, and provide feedback to the visual merchandiser. Operational Procedures: Ensure all procedures are followed correctly. Audit Standards: Check areas like fitting rooms and checkout for cleanliness and standards. Product Quality: Help maintain high product quality by reporting any issues to the merchandising team. Team Development: Train and develop your team, clearly define roles, and give constructive feedback. Motivate Team: Inspire and motivate your team to achieve sales targets and follow processes.
