Location: Wacol, Brisbane QLD
Salary $90,000 - $100,000 + performance-based bonus structure DOE
We are representing a well-established Australian metal fabrication and processing business seeking a Sales Team Leader to join their growing team in Brisbane’s western suburbs.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced sales professional who is ready to take the next step into leadership, moving from a senior or high-performing sales role into a position where you will guide, support, and develop others.
About the Role
You will take responsibility for day‑to‑day sales activity while supporting a small internal team. The role remains hands‑on, particularly in quoting, customer engagement, and closing sales, while gradually expanding into leadership, coaching, and process improvement.
Working closely with production and operations teams, you will help ensure customer requirements are met accurately and on time, while maintaining strong client relationships and driving consistent sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a small internal sales team
- Manage inbound sales enquiries and develop outbound opportunities
- Prepare quotes, follow up leads, and convert opportunities into sales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Provide guidance and informal coaching to team members
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth job delivery
- Assist with reporting, forecasting, and sales process improvements
- Identify opportunities to grow accounts and increase revenue
About You
- Experience in sales (manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or similar highly regarded)
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Confidence in managing enquiries and closing sales
- Natural leadership capability with a desire to develop others
- Good organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Experience with quoting or CRM systems (beneficial but not essential)
