Sales Specialist – Uniting Yamba – Yamba NSW
1-year Fixed Term | Full Time

We are seeking a motivated Sales Specialist to help us sell the remaining product and bring this vibrant coastal community to completion. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution by connecting retirees with beautiful new homes in an established community.

With brand new apartments and villas still available, you will confidently lead the end-to-end sales journey, nurture enquiries and support prospective residents through the decision to make Uniting Yamba their next home.

This is a genuinely rewarding role where you will host events, , build relationships with retirees, and guide future residents through one of the most important decisions of their lives.

About the role

This role suits a self-starter who is comfortable working independently on site and thrives when given ownership. You will be the face of Uniting Yamna for prospective residents and must be confident managing your time, pipeline and customer relationships autonomously.

A strong understanding of the local Yamba market will be highly regarded, as will established community connections and knowledge of where and how to engage retirees in the area.

Working closely with the project team, Sales and Marketing, and the onsite Village Manager, you will be at the heart of bringing this new community to life.

In this role, you will:

Achieve Sales & Occupancy Targets

  • Secure sales of Retirement Living apartments in line with KPIs
  • Manage enquiries and purchaser engagement to maximise conversion
  • Maintain a disciplined and effective sales pipeline using CRM systems

Deliver a Seamless Customer Experience

  • Guide customers through the full journey from enquiry to settlement
  • Maintain regular, thoughtful communication with purchasers
  • Work closely with the Village Manager to ensure a welcoming move-in experience

Community Engagement & Networking

  • Host presentations, open days and information sessions
  • Attend expos, community events and retirement industry functions
  • Build strong relationships with retirees and local groups including Probus, RSL and Uniting Church congregations (with support from a Community Engagement Manager and broader marketing team)

Marketing & Outreach

  • Support targeted engagement and promotional initiatives
  • Grow and maintain a quality customer database
  • Provide insights on buyer preferences and competitor activity

Records, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
  • Provide insights to improve systems, processes and future developments
  • Collaborate with Property, Marketing and Administration teams to strengthen sales strategy

About you

You are personable, organised and proactive. You enjoy working with retirees and community groups and understand that this is a relationship-based sales role built on trust, care and professionalism.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in retirement living sales
  • A strong track record of achieving sales targets
  • The ability to work autonomously and confidently manage your own sales pipeline
  • Experience with new developments (highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of the local market and community networks in Yamba and surrounding areas
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and networking skills
  • Sound knowledge of the NSW and ACT Retirement Villages Act
  • High attention to detail and confidence using CRM systems
  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence
