Overview
As OME Sales Manager for the Sea Sector, you drive growth by turning opportunities into profitable orders. You will lead cross‑functional bid teams, shaping winning strategies and coordinating with Product Line, Strategy, and Marketing to align with market needs. You operate in a fast-paced defence environment, building trusted relationships with UK and global clients while supporting delivery planning.
This role offers global exposure, a clear impact on defence solutions, and collaboration with an experienced, international team.

- Own and develop an ambitious, profitable growth pipeline
- Lead in-year growth while developing the ongoing pipeline
- Develop compelling win strategies and guide bid teams
- Manage key client and stakeholder relationships to meet growth objectives
- Ensure winning proposals comply with company processes and inform Operations planning
- Collaborate with Product Line, Strategy and Marketing to deliver innovative solutions
- Contribute to Strategic Business Plan and Multi‑Year Budget planning
- Represent the business at events to support growth
- Proven sales experience in defence, with complex systems and/or senior defence sector roles
- Track record of profitable growth and bid leadership
- Experience with UK MoD structures, defence procurement, and export processes
- Ability to win new business and work with cross‑functional, international teams
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management
- Willingness to travel UK and globally (50–60%) and engage in face‑to‑face work
- Security clearance eligibility (SC) or current SC would be advantageous
- Excellent communicator and motivator
