Job Summary: The Sales Engineer – Spare Parts & AMC will be responsible for sales, marketing, and customer support for spare parts of European and US-based pharmaceutical machinery , along with Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) sales and renewals. The role involves close coordination with customers, OEM suppliers, service teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely spare supply and service support while achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities: Spare Parts Sales & Business Development Manage sales of spare parts for European and US-origin pharmaceutical machinery (packing, processing, filling, inspection, etc.).

Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable spare parts solutions. Prepare and submit quotations, techno-commercial offers, and follow-ups . Achieve assigned sales targets for spares and service-related revenues.

Maintain accurate records of inquiries, orders, and customer interactions. AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) Sales Promote, negotiate, and finalize AMC contracts with existing and new customers. Handle AMC renewals , pricing, and contract extension discussions.

Coordinate with service teams to ensure AMC scope, timelines, and customer satisfaction. Track AMC performance, expiry dates, and revenue projections. Customer Relationship Management Serve as a key point of contact for customers regarding spare parts and service needs.

Conduct plant visits to understand installed machinery and spare consumption. Resolve customer issues related to spares availability, delivery timelines, and documentation. Build long-term relationships with pharmaceutical clients.

OEM & Supplier Coordination Coordinate with European and US principals / OEMs for part identification, pricing, and lead times. Ensure correct part numbers, technical specifications, and compatibility. Monitor imports, lead times, and logistics support for spare parts.

Documentation & Reporting Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and monthly performance updates. Maintain documentation related to orders, invoices, AMC agreements, and compliance. Support audits and internal reviews as required.

Market Intelligence & Strategy Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and service upgrades. Support management in developing spare parts and service sales strategies.

Qualifications & Skills: Education Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering . Experience 2–6 years of experience in sales or service of pharma machinery spare parts . Exposure to European and US-based pharma equipment preferred.

Experience in AMC sales and service coordination is an advantage. Technical Skills Good understanding of pharmaceutical machinery and spare components. Ability to read basic technical drawings and manuals.

Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems. Soft Skills Strong communication and negotiation skills. Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset.
