Role Description This is a full-time hybrid position for a Sales Development Executive based out of Kochi, with flexibility for some remote work. This role is focused on end-to-end ownership of the sales cycle , from engaging qualified leads to successfully closing deals. The Sales Development Executive will work on both marketing-generated and inbound leads, understand client requirements, demonstrate the platform, and convert prospects into paying customers. We operate in a fast-paced startup environment , where speed, ownership, and results matter. You will be expected to move quickly, adapt faster, and consistently drive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities Convert marketing-qualified and inbound leads into closed deals Own the complete sales cycle - from first interaction to deal closure Conduct product demos and effectively showcase Katha’s platform and value proposition Understand client needs and position solutions aligned with their branding and campaign goals Build and maintain strong relationships with prospects to drive conversions Consistently follow up with leads and manage pipeline stages efficiently Collaborate with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion strategies Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Conversion rate of marketing and inbound leads to closed deals Number of deals closed and revenue generated Effectiveness of product demos and client engagement Lead-to-opportunity and opportunity-to-closure ratios Timeliness and consistency of follow-ups Qualifications Proven experience in sales, closing, or business development roles (preferably B2B) Strong ability to pitch, present, and close deals independently Excellent communication, negotiation, and objection-handling skills Experience with CRM tools and pipeline management Strong understanding of digital marketing, branding, or Martech (preferred) Ability to work in a target-driven, fast-paced environment Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field This role is NOT for you if: You are only comfortable generating leads but not closing deals You need constant direction and are not comfortable with ownership and accountability You are not comfortable working with targets, numbers, and performance pressure You prefer a slow-paced or highly structured corporate environment You hesitate to pitch, handle objections, or ask for the close You are not open to continuous feedback, iteration, and rapid improvement You are looking for a role with fixed routines rather than dynamic problem-solving Shoot your resumes to
