Job Description: Sales Engineer (Hydro & Turbines) Locations: Maharashtra & Madhya Pradesh Region: (Head Office - Mumbai based) Job Purpose To drive business growth by identifying technical requirements at hydropower plants and providing engineering-led solutions for turbine maintenance, refurbishment, and component replacement. You will act as the technical bridge between the site engineers and our design/manufacturing teams. Key Responsibilities Technical Sales & Application: Proactively promote our specialized hydro portfolio, including turbine components and system conversions (e.g., oil-to-water lubrication) Field Engagement: Conduct site visits to hydro power plants for technical assessments and commercial negotiations. Solution Design: Collaborate with the back office to prepare detailed technical-commercial offers and tender documentation based on site-specific turbine requirements. Technical Presentations: Deliver high-level technical demonstrations to plant managers and SEs, showcasing how our engineering solutions improve turbine efficiency and longevity. Relationship Management: Develop long-term partnerships with hydro end-users (State Gencos, IPPs, and Central Utilities) to generate inquiries for parts and services. Market Intelligence: Maintain accurate CRM records of turbine health at various sites and track upcoming maintenance schedules (A/B/C/D inspections). Candidate Requirements Education: Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Hydro-Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 3โ€“7 years in Hydro Turbine maintenance, installation, or technical sales.

Skills: Deep understanding of turbine types (Francis, Kaplan, Pelton) and their mechanical components. Experience with Tender Documentation and ERP systems is highly preferred. Willingness to travel extensively to remote hydro plant locations.
