The role requires strong technical understanding, consultative selling ability, and relationship management with industrial customers. Key Responsibilities 1. Drive sales and business development for instrumentation products including pressure, temperature, level, and flow instruments. 2.
Promote portable measuring instruments and gas analyzers to industrial and process-sector customers. 3. Generate business for fuel transfer system solutions such as flow meters, flow switches, filtration systems, pump skids, dispensers, and tank accessories. 4. Identify and develop opportunities for leak detection systems used in water, acid, and oil applications. 5.
Support sales of mechanical products such as pumps, tanks, strainers, valves, and pipes & fittings. 6. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable end-to-end instrumentation and automation solutions. 7. Coordinate with clients for fuel storage and management solutions while addressing accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency needs. 8.
Work closely with internal technical and project teams from enquiry stage to proposal submission, order finalization, and execution follow-up. 9. Build strong relationships with industrial customers, consultants, EPC contractors, procurement teams, and channel partners to expand market reach. 10. Prepare techno-commercial offers, conduct product presentations, negotiate with customers, follow up on quotations, and achieve assigned sales targets.
Required Candidate Profile · Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics Engineering. · 5–8 years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, or solution selling. · Good understanding of instrumentation, industrial automation, fuel systems, gas analyzers, or mechanical products. · Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills. · Ability to understand industrial applications and propose appropriate technical solutions. · Experience in preparing quotations, tenders, techno-commercial proposals, and handling order closures. · Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site visits, and business development activities. Preferred Skills · Exposure to manufacturing, process industries, oil & gas, utilities, infrastructure, data centre, or related industrial sectors. · Strong aptitude for consultative and solution-based selling. · Ability to build long-term business relationships and identify new growth opportunities. · Commercial awareness with a focus on revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
