Job Description

Sales & Customer Service Coordinator
Furniture & Homewares Wholesale
Jolimont, Perth WA · Casual, part-time (up to ~21 hrs/week)

About us

We are a well-established furniture and homewares wholesale agency based in Jolimont, Perth. For more than 20 years we've represented a curated portfolio of quality designer furniture, homewares, lighting and décor brands, supplying retailers, interior designers and commercial/hospitality projects across Western Australia.

We're a small close-knit team who take pride in our brands, our customers and the way we work together. We're now looking for a friendly, organised person to join us.

About the role

This is a part‑time, casual position with flexible hours (up to around 21 hours per week) — ideal if you're after a role that fits neatly around family or other commitments. We begin with a three-month casual trial, with a clear pathway to an ongoing permanent part‑time position for the right person.

You’ll represent and sell our brands, look after our customers from first enquiry through to delivery, and help keep our orders and day‑to‑day operations running smoothly. Computing skills are a must, and a passion for interiors and styling is essential. Knowledge of current technology, social media trends & digital communication platforms is an advantage.

What you’ll be doing

  • Representing and selling our furniture brands to WA retailers, interior designers (A&D)
  • Meeting with clients and building strong, lasting relationships, as well as growing new clients
  • Processing customer orders and entering them accurately into our ordering system (full training provided)
  • Answering sales enquiries and offering helpful product information and recommendations
  • Following up on orders, deliveries and customer queries
  • Liaising with our wholesale brands on orders and product information
  • Providing general administration and office support

What you’ll bring

  • Confident computer skills — comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and quick to pick up wholesale ordering systems
  • Have a keen interest in furniture, homewares & interiors (highly regarded)
  • A good feel for the WA retail market as well as familiarity with local interior designers (A&D Market) (a real plus)
  • Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry/computer literacy
  • Well organised, with the ability to juggle priorities in a busy environment
  • A positive, friendly manner and professional presentation
  • Reliability, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team

What's on offer

  • Flexible part‑time hours up to 3 days a week
  • A supportive, friendly and close‑knit team
  • A three-month casual trial with a genuine pathway to permanent part‑time
  • The chance to work with premium quality designer furniture and homeware brands
  • A varied role across a great mix of retail, trade customers and interior designers
  • A lovely showroom base in Jolimont with parking available
