Sales Representative Department: Sales & Partnerships Location: Kolkata & Regional Territories Reporting To: Sales Manager / Founder’s Office About TGMC The Green Machine Company (TGMC) is a heritage‑driven manufacturer of organic waste composters, dewatering systems, and compactors . We combine mechanical engineering, electronics, and sustainability to deliver reliable waste‑management solutions for municipalities, institutions, and industries. We are expanding our reach and seeking Sales Representatives who can convert technical innovation into real‑world adoption.

Role Overview The Sales Representative will be responsible for selling TGMC machines to institutional, municipal, and industrial clients. This is a field‑driven role requiring strong communication, product understanding, and relationship‑building skills. You will represent TGMC’s brand values — reliability, sustainability, and innovation — while driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities Generate leads and convert prospects for TGMC composters, dewatering systems, and compactors. Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical features in simple, outcome‑focused language. Visit municipalities, housing complexes, hotels, and industries for direct sales and presentations.

Prepare quotations, tender documents, and follow up on proposals. Maintain CRM records and daily visit reports. Coordinate with the operations team for installation and after‑sales support.

Gather market feedback and competitor insights. Represent TGMC at exhibitions, trade fairs, and client meetings. Required Skills & Experience Technical & Sales Skills 5–8 years of experience in industrial or equipment sales (preferred: waste‑management, mechanical, or environmental products).

Strong understanding of machine operation and benefits . Ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical clients. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.

Soft Skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Self‑motivated and target‑driven. Professional presentation and client‑handling ability.

Ownership mindset and field discipline. Education Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Environmental, or Industrial Engineering (preferred). Graduates with strong field‑sales experience may also apply.
