About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Rostering / Admin Support professional to join the Ashcare team in Thornbury, VIC on a full-time basis. This is a pivotal administrative role that will provide essential support to our operations, with a particular focus on staff rostering and general administrative functions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting staff scheduling, and maintaining accurate records that are fundamental to the effective functioning of our aged care services.
What you'll be doing
Managing and maintaining staff rosters, ensuring appropriate scheduling and compliance with award requirements
Processing timesheets and payroll information with accuracy and attention to detail
Coordinating leave requests and absences whilst liaising with management regarding staffing needs
Maintaining accurate administrative records and databases related to personnel and operations
Responding to general enquiries and providing administrative support to various departments
Preparing documentation, reports and correspondence as required
Supporting the organisation with scheduling meetings and coordinating administrative activities
Assisting with general office management tasks including filing, photocopying and record keeping
Liaising with staff members regarding roster changes, scheduling and related administrative matters
What we're looking for
Proven experience in an administrative support or rostering role, preferably within an aged care, healthcare or similar service industry
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when handling sensitive information and records
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with staff at all levels
Proficiency with rostering software and payroll systems is highly desirable
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
Discretion and confidentiality when handling personnel and operational information
