Job Description
Grosvenor Mine is seeking a data‑driven Reliability Engineer with proven underground mining experience. As part of Anglo American’s high‑performance underground hard coking coal operation in Moranbah, QLD, this role offers an opportunity to contribute to one of the country’s most technologically progressive underground sites.
In this position you will ensure that our maintenance systems perform to world‑class standards, drive reliability across critical underground equipment, sustain asset performance, reduce downtime, and support cost‑effective operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead reliability improvement initiatives across the engineering and maintenance teams.
- Analyze asset performance and deliver long‑term improvement strategies.
- Review and refine maintenance strategies with recommendations tailored to underground operations.
- Coach and support maintenance personnel to embed best‑practice processes.
- Improve equipment availability through Asset Management, Condition Monitoring, Defect Elimination, Root Cause Analysis, and Machine Health Programs.
- Actively contribute to ongoing continuous improvement and optimisation projects.
