Job Title
Registered Nurse – Home Support Nurse (Community based)
Hours
1:1 care for an adult in the home, 6-8 hour shifts (e.g., 8am – 2pm).

Responsibilities
- Provide safe, quality, person-centred care to a client within their own home environment as part of a nurse-led care team with support from the local clinical supervision team, reporting directly to CNM.
- Provide evidence-based nursing care and implement all aspects of the client’s care plans based on identified needs.
- Prioritise the needs and comfort of the adult.
- Work closely in partnership with family members.
- Promote recognition of the client as an individual and demonstrate kindness, compassion, and respect.
- Commit to the care and concern of the client.
- Work within the Scope of Practice NMBI (2015).
- Adhere to the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses and Midwives (2015).
Qualifications & Experience
- Registered Nurse on live register of NMBI.
- Community-based nursing experience is desirable but not essential; relevant training will be provided.
