Registered Nurse Oncology

At Williamson Health and Wellness Center, we are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse in Oncology to join our team in Williamson, WV. Our center is committed to community health innovation through tailored care and robust wellness programs. This role requires a compassionate nurse skilled in oncology care, capable of providing exceptional patient support while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to implement effective treatment plans, manage patient care, and contribute to ongoing research and education in oncology.

Provide direct nursing care to oncology patients. Assess patient conditions through careful observation and the management of diagnostic tests. Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other medications safely.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to formulate individualized care plans. Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and health maintenance. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.

Participate in research and continuing education related to oncology care. Strong clinical skills in oncology and palliative care. Proficient in administering chemotherapy and managing side effects.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a team and independently. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Valid RN license in the state of West Virginia or ability to obtain. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred.
