About World Travel Protection

This role is part of World Travel Protection, our global medical and security assistance business supporting many of Zurich Cover-More’s travel insurance brands. We support both corporate and leisure travellers – helping them avoid risks before they escalade and connecting them with the right experts when emergencies arise. With deep expertise in global travel risk management, we’re trusted by travellers, corporate risk managers, and organisations worldwide to prepare for potential threats and respond when it matters most.

Operating 24/7 from our global assistance centres, we’re always ready to answer the call – wherever in the world it comes from.

So, what’s the job?

Our Registered Nurses and Paramedics offer expert medical advice and services to travellers all over the world, 24/7. With their Emergency or Critical Care backgrounds, our team are committed to caring for our travellers when they need it the most.

  • You’ll assess the nature of emergency medical situations and provide appropriate guidance and instructions to travellers around the world
  • You’ll respond to emergency calls and provide immediate telephonic medical assistance to travellers
  • You’ll make time‑sensitive medical decisions for travellers, utilising your clinical expertise to triage their emergency

And what are we looking for?

We are looking for future team members who are passionate about helping people and want variety in their job every single day. We can teach you everything you need to know about travel assistance as long as you’re empathetic and willing to learn – so no corporate experience necessary!

  • You’ll need to be available to work across a 06:00‑22:00 rotating roster that includes early and late shifts (eight 10‑hour shifts/fortnight)
  • More than anything else, you’ll have a passion for helping others

Job flexibility

We understand the importance of making sure that work fits into your life. Our hybrid approach ensures you can maintain work‑life balance with the flexibility of 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home, after an initial training period.
