\nWe're Hiring Senior Mechanical Design Engineer – Reciprocating Compressors
\nExperience: 4+ Yrs
\nLocation: Hyderabad
\nWe are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of high-performance multi-cylinder reciprocating compressors with integrated 75kW motors for HVAC and refrigeration applications.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nDesign and develop compressor assemblies, including crankcase, crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, and valve plates using SolidWorks.
\nCreate 3D CAD models, layouts, component stack-ups, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
\nDesign pressure-containing ductile iron castings/housings for operating pressures up to 28 bar (2.8 MPa).
\nDevelop motor cooling solutions (suction gas or water/glycol cooling systems).
\nEngineer advanced lubrication systems, including oil pumps, channels, filtration, and oil separation.
\nSupport and guide FEA and CFD activities for structural integrity, fatigue, pulsation, and gas-flow optimization.
\nRequirements
\nStrong expertise in SolidWorks and GD&T.
\nExperience in reciprocating compressor, HVAC, refrigeration, or rotating equipment design.
\nIn-depth knowledge of Ammonia (R717) refrigeration systems and safety practices.
\nUnderstanding of hermetic/semi-hermetic motor design, thermal management, and sealing technologies.
\nStrong knowledge of ductile iron/aluminum castings, precision machining, and valve assembly design.
