Overview Boeing Canada Winnipeg is the largest composites manufacturer in Canada, employing over 1,300 people in a 800,000+ square foot facility. We are seeking an Experienced Quality Engineer to join the Quality Organization, reporting to the Quality Engineering Manager at our Winnipeg, Manitoba office. Position Responsibilities Provide quality interpretation of requirements and develop quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements.

Evaluate, qualify and support production implementation of selected materials, processes, equipment, and measurement systems to ensure conformance, manufacturing readiness and producibility requirements are met. Participate in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs and resolve problems to ensure compliance with internal and external customer requirements, company policy, and regulatory agencies. Analyze and compile performance reports and process control statistics to determine and improve process capability or product quality, perform root cause analyses, and recommend corrective actions to reduce non-conformance.

Represent quality function on team activities, integrating contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals, program processes, and documentation. Design, implement, and support alternative and advanced verification methods and processes such as probing, vision systems, computer‑aided measurement systems, sampling, or statistical process control. Conduct verification reviews to ensure adequate surveillance to validate product and process quality requirements.

Assist in the development of measurement plans, programs and test procedures, and perform data collection and analysis using metrology systems and software to support Metrology and Test Labs. Basic Qualifications (Required) Bachelor of Science Degree in a relevant field of Engineering and registration or eligibility to register with Engineer Geoscientists Manitoba as a Professional Engineer. 5+ years of experience in Quality, Engineering or a related environment. Experience working within quality systems such as Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), ISO 9001, or AS 9100.

Experience in data analysis and statistical methods to support advanced problem‑solving. Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally. Legal ability to work in Canada.

No risk to safeguarding of controlled goods. Eligibility to handle US export‑controlled data. Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of experience within the aerospace/aviation industry.

Demonstrated leadership experience in a formal or informal setting. Experience with Catia V4/V5, CAD/CAMs software, or related computer‑based graphics applications, or CNC programming. Experience in metrology, composite materials, and laboratory testing methods.

Strong oral and written communication, decision‑making, problem‑solving, organizational skills and the ability to provide guidance and work in a team environment. Conflict of Interest Successful candidates must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Additional Information This is a locally hired position in Canada.
